SUMMARY:Excursion: Aurochs and horses - wild pastures in the lower Oder valley
DESCRIPTION:The so-called Heck cat­tle\, social­ized with unspoilt hors­es such as the Exmoor Pony or the Konik\, which is still very sim­i­lar to the west­ern wild horse\, the Tarpan\, serve both eco­log­i­cal agri­cul­ture and nature con­ser­va­tion. They are invari­ably resilient and quite impos­ing and well-for­ti­fied. The excur­sion will be led by Mr. Thomas Berg (Low­er Oder Val­ley Nation­al Park Asso­ci­a­tion\, Chair­man) in a gen­er­al­ly under­stand­able form.
