In the spring of 2021, the mea­sure “For­est con­ver­sion in the Lunow­er Bauern­hei­de” (AZ: 208119000457) fund­ed by the Lan­des­be­trieb Forst Bran­den­burg with EAFRD funds was com­plet­ed. 3.6 hectares of pure pine for­est was first cleared and then built under the sur­face with horn­beam, ses­sile oak and chest­nut. All suit­able for­est areas owned by the foun­da­tion are to be trans­ferred to cli­mate-sta­ble mixed forests in the medi­um term.
